I am thrilled that long tops are all the rage. After having four kids, my mid section needs to remain well covered. The fad of low rise jeans and tummy tops were a lethal combo for anyone with less than perfect abs. I admit I still wear some of my Citizens low rise jeans, but I make every effort for my shirt not to rise .I have always worn long tunics and caftan style tops. I used to be able to find these on sale racks...that was before long tops were in. Now I struggle to find the balance between looking like I am in style, versus looking like I am in a maternity top. There was quite a selection. Loved the dresses! The dress that I bought was not online- I looked for a photo. It is a thin strapped denim dress that I can use now with shirts and footless tights, and in the summer all by itself. I tried to buy the French cuff dress/ shirt, but only small sizes were left. (A reminder that I am too old and too big for Gap.) I will continue to check the racks, and mix my Gap finds with my more expensive investment pieces. Okay, the word piece seems a bit much, but...
