Started the day with my baguette and coffee. David packed up. Today is our last day in Paris.
The start of our long walk:
The bottom of the Champs Elysee:
I walked the long hot journey up the Champs Elysee to find what was supposed to be the only Monoprix that was open in Paris on Sunday, so I could buy these adorable ecobags for my friends. It was closed.
I love the Picasso Museum so much that we hopped on the Metro from the Arch D'Triomph and went to the Marais (the Jewish quarter where everything is open on Sunday). Because it was the first Sunday of the month, we even got into the museum for free.
We also made a brief stop at the Musee Carnavalet, which has one of the nicest courtyards in Paris.
