The kids decided that it was time for hot cocoa this afternoon. We stopped by Satura for cocoa and chocolate croissants. I am still waiting for Satura to create a dairy free treat. It feels like fall here these days.

We are watching Mocha for the week, or shall I say that Darrow and Beckett are watching Mocha. The two of them have been tending to her every need. I think she actually missed them while they were at school. I made sure to have classical music on all day so she would not feel alone when I left. The kids and and "their" dog enjoyed an afternoon snack in the yard together.

We have been taking photos against this wall at the art school. Today Darrow took this photo after exclaiming, "Mommy, I would wear that outfit.." So is that a compliment. I am wearing something that my eight year old daughter would wear. I also clearly need to wear sunglasses or I squint!

I can not cook, so I brought some wine to a good bye BBQ tonight. I am sad to say good bye to a great family. They are leaving Stanford for a position at Harvard. Why is it that I always bond with folks right before they move!

We made it to NYC! I am feeling like a country mouse in the big city! We strolled around our old neighborhood, and stopped for some H&H bagels. Hard to believe we lived here 14 years ago.
Darrow learned that wearing flip flops in NYC will make your feet very dirty.
We have a week to explore the various sites, shop and eat.

We are now summer members of the Cape Cod Museum of Art. We spent some time at the museum this afternoon.It is a lovely museum, with impressive exhibits. Oh, there is a Motherwell downstairs too. Noah discovered an artist that he liked, William Gropper. The painting is called, "Amusement Park".
