Darrow and her cousin Ruby wore matching Wati dresses to the Harwich Children's Theatre tonight. My mother in law takes the kids to a show every year while we are on the Cape. A great tradition.
I keep stumbling upon, (no not with Stumble Upon ) amazing kids sites. There appears to be an abundance of talented designers, and some very unique sites. Nonchalantmom is one. This beautiful site, has clothing and designs for kids and moms.
They carry lines that are hard to find, and one of a kind. Look at this adorable baby outfit from Lucky Wang. This would be a great gift for any hip baby !
I have been home sick all day reading fashion blogs. Somehow I ended up on a really cute Canadian kids boutique called Chloe In Style. I fell in love with the cute ponchos. As usual, they do not come in Darrow's size. I really wish more designers would make cute older girls stuff. Most designs for the seven year old set is too grown up. The ponchos go to a size 4t, but maybe I can find someone to make one for Darrow.
I love that my kids continue to play their "clothing " game. They pick out outfits for one another, and then let the the "outfitee" choose his or her favorite. They are getting good at this. I may let them choose something for me to wear tomorrow. I could use a personal stylist. Here is a photo of what Noah and Darrow chose for Beckett.
I am getting really excited about the Feb. 8th sale that I am co-hosting here in Palo Alto. We now have 17 local designers coming together to support the P.A. schools. Almost all of the designers are Moms. Ten percent of the profits will be donated to Palo Alto Partners In Education. I just can not wait to be in the same room with these creative and successful women. I will post about different designers over the next two weeks...Here is a photo from Dagmar Daley's site.
Hope that some of you VOX folks can stop by!

I am in the process of planning a fundraiser for the schools on Feb. 8th. I am so excited about the collection of designers--mainly local, many Moms. Thanks to Wati, of Wati Designs, I have been able to connect with some amazing women. Aud is a friend of Wati's that designs these unique sweaters. These are recycled, redesigned, one of a kind knits for kids. I know that Darrow will want one. The list of vendors continues to grow...I will post a final list with links shortly.
I got to see one of my best friends from high school-- yes I am on of those people that loved high school and still stays in touch with my friends. My friend Sarah, lives in L.A. and always has the coolest stuff for her kids. I may not be a big fan of the Southland, but they do have great shopping. Her son was wearing a unique shirt , which of course was from L.A. Whimsy Ranch Clothing is a line out of Studio City, that is sold at the farmers market or by special orders only. I have to have some for my kids.
There is a little girl in Beckett's pre-school class that should be on the pages of Vogue. Thalia is always dressed in the most interesting, fashionable finds. Her mom seems to know where to find unique clothes. Local designer Wati has an amazing collection. I know hip places like Fred Segal in L.A. carries the line. I have also seen in it locally, in Los Altos @ For Kids Only.
I do not own stock in Tea, but adore their line. The designs and soft cotton are a perfect combo for kids to be stylish and comfy. My only complaint is that they only go up to size 6- the size Darrow now wears.
