We arrived in Prague after midnight and got a late start to the day. First things first, I found a cafe that actually had soy milk.
We walked through the old town square, walked through the cathedral, watched the astronomical clock strike one (I told you we got a late start), happened upon a military band placing flowers in the square (for some anniversary or other), then headed back to the hotel to catch a taxi to the Prague Castle.
Famished, we got lucky and happened upon a Bio Cafe on the way down the hill from the Castle -- it is a chain of veggy restaurants.
Actually, before we hit the bridge, we visited a few tourist trap stores and saw the beloved creature of Prague fairy tales, the Prague Mole.
After tirelessly trying to find anything that seemed reasonably priced (even in Czech Crowns), we gave up on capitalism and took a trip the Prague Museum of Communism. The museum is ironically located between a McDonalds and a casino.
We finished the day with a great Indian meal and are now sitting in the lobby of Hotel Josef using the free wifi (sadly, we are suffering cigarette smoke in the process).
